With more than 3 decades of service as an educational institution, MMC CAST has decided to offer BS Hotel and Restaurant Management course to produce globally competitive graduates that would cater to the needs of fast-paced and dynamic industries. The program aims to prepare and equip students with competencies, skills, knowledge, values and attitude appropriate to be reliable and trustworthy leaders, workers, supervisors and managers of the tourism and hospitality industry by providing them intensive academic courses and work experiences in approved practicum and internship programs.
The student undertaking this program will prepare menus, purchase, prepare, cook and serve various types of food in catering, dining domestic and other establishments. This is a non-specific cooking course encompassing most Western cooking styles, designed to give the students skills in a wide range of establishments.
The BS Hotel and Restaurant Management is geared towards developing students’ knowledge, skills and attitude in providing quality service in hospitality industry. The program will provide needs of different sectors such as front office, housekeeping, restaurant and coffee shop operation. Its primary concentration is to develop practical and managerial skills which are achieved through research and experiential-based learning.
